PRAYKATION SCHOLARSHIPS 2026

Bethesda Tabernacle, Inc. is honored to award two scholarships during the PRAYKATION CONFERENCE 2026.

2026 marks the 7th year of The Dr. Bettie J. Mills Scholarship
6th year of The Bishop Virgil C. Jones, Sr. Scholarship

THE FOUNDATION

Vision is a gift from God, but discipline is our response to that gift. A meaningful life is not built on inspiration alone—but on daily obedience, consistency, and faithfulness.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” — Colossians 3:23

ESSAY REQUIREMENT

Applicants must submit a minimum 500-word essay answering the following:

“THE VISION GOD HAS PLACED ON YOUR HEART FOR YOUR FUTURE.”

Your essay should thoughtfully address:

What disciplines, habits, and sacrifices are required to steward that vision well?
How does living your life and pursuing your education “as to the Lord” shape your character and work ethic?
Do you have a commitment to serve others while fulfilling your vision? If so, how?

SELECTION PROCESS

All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, which will carefully evaluate and select the recipients.
